Palace
This photo shows part of the Schleißheim palace in Germany. I really like the angles and the lines formed by the symmetry effect. The building contrasts well from the glowing sky in the background.

Pension Lübeck
This picture was taken outside the Pension Lübeck in Trier, Germany. I really like the repetition in the roof tiles and windows. I cropped the image, so the building filled the whole image.

Sky Metropolis
This is a photo of the Toronto skyline. I really love how the city looks like it is floating in the sky, because it was cropped at the bottom. I think the repetition of the rectangular shapes in both directions is really cool.

Avenue
This is a photo of some classic German architecture. My favorite part is the intersecting lines with the symmetry. The buildings also contrast from the plain sky.

Casa
This photo was taken from on top of Casa Loma in the outskirts of Toronto. I really like all the different textures of the brick, stone, and tiles, and how they contrast. These stones also create cool shapes and patterns when I did the symmetry effect.

Burst
I really love how this flower contrasts from the background in black and white. This contrast makes the flower looks more realistic and three dimensional. Still, I am glad that the details in the background were retained when it was desaturated.

Adventure is Calling
This photo shows my dad and brother on a hike in the evening. This photo has a feeling of freedom and adventure, which is why I like it. I also like how subtle the red is, while still adding to the feel of the image.

Festival
This picture was taken at a Swiss Folk festival at Berghaus Männlichen. I think leaving the flags red captures the Swiss theme of the photo. This is one of my favorite photos because it documents a very special event.

Posh
This image shows the Moroccan House at Linderhof Palace in Germany. I really love the symmetrical balance in the photo. I think the details and colors of the curtain look really great against the black and white background.

Tower
I like this image of Hohenschwangau because I have only recolored the tower. The other part of the building has some great shadows and value created by the roof details. I think the castle contrasts from the plain sky.
